Work While You Work

"This poem, which children memorized from McGuffey-s Primer in the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, is a good one for those modern souls who turn on the TV while they´re doing their homework, or spend more time at the coffee machine than at their desk. On the other hand, it´s also a good one for those who can´t bring themselves to venture onto a beach or into a movie theater without taking their beepers with them.

Work while you work,
Play while you play;
One thing each time,
That is the way.
All that you  do,
Do with your might;
Things done by halves
Are not done right."
